I find that his work takes on quite a simplistic approach to creating art. However, I am sure that he outs a lot of thought and consideration into what he wants to create. But, I just find that his work to be very simplistic on the eye, and to me that is what attracts me. I like this approach to artworks, sometimes, and I find in Gary Hume's case, it works really well.
Another reason why I quite like his work (and he would not be too happy if he read this) is because I feel it has a quite feminine feel to it. Not only because he paints floral images, but because of the colours that he uses and the way he draws and paints his images.
